Our Distinctive Features:
Strong emphasis on character formation and development, applying the principle of CARE (Consistent Achievements for Rewarding Education) for each child through assembly talks, pastoral care programme, and the community involvement programme;
Systematic framework for developing student leadership, e.g. prefects, class monitors, CCA leaders; and

The primary school builds on the foundation laid by the preparatory year section. Based on the Singapore curriculum and adapted to the HKSAR context, the curriculum framework for the primary school is shown in the diagram below:
We focus on building a firm foundation in values, knowledge and skills so as to allow the child to understand his physical and social world, be able to function in it and relate to others as part of a social group. We place strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy, character and emotional development and citizenship education.

Besides developing in students a love for learning through the instructional programme, enrichment activities such as level camps, overseas educational trips and home-stay programmes are organised to ensure that the students have a broad range of experiences and ample opportunity to develop their skills and demonstrate the values that they need for life.
A wide variety of teaching and learning strategies that encourage students to be actively engaged in their learning are used:
use of spiral and concrete-pictorial-abstract approaches in the teaching of Mathematics. A range of heuristics are also taught to help students solve challenging word problems;
book study for English language classes;
inquiry-based approach to enhance students’ understanding of science;
cooperative learning and group work;
use of e-learning portal; and
use of ICT in individual and group project work.
Different modes of assessment are used to evaluate students' learning:
traditional pen-and-paper tests;
performance tasks; and
The varied assessments ensure that the students attain process skills which are essential in the digital age. Students will also be provided with abundant opportunities to stretch their faculties and build on their strengths.
