Head of Department - Administration

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the Administration Department of the School which provides support service to the whole school general administration matters, student services, co-curricular activities, contract management, project management and other operations
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, existing governmental policies, regulations and code of practice
  • Leads a full team of administrative staff
  • Formulate and update administration policies and procedures
  • Formulate and update procurement policies and procedures with proper internal control

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in administration, procurement and project management including at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Well versed in local statutory requirements, especially Education Ordinance
  • Decisive, able to work in multi-tasking environment, independent and is a good team player
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese (Putonghua)
  • Proficiency in MS applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in tendering exercise 
  • Experience in education industry
